all's fair in gambling

been too lazy to type my blog post... heehee.

so since i'm STILL quite lazy, i shall just summarise what happened on the dreadful last sunday night.

jason (ford boy) kissed my ass.

er... not literally. we were doing our rounds (driving around lah) in orchard that very night after the wedding dinner i attended. so since we were all trying to catch up with the car in front, we had to go quite fast, amidst the many other "tiong chias" along orchard road.

yup, on 8th august every year, if you were to go down to orchard, you would be able to see thousands of "tiong chias" (or modified cars as they are known to the unheard of) racing along the orchard gudang track. this stretches all the way from tanglin to dhoby ghaut. NICE. :)

so we were indeed going quite fast at the s-curve just outside park mall. just after we exited the s-curve, jason (garfield) had to brake a fair bit because it was red light already in front. now at this point in time, i had to also step alot on the brakes too.

then suddenly, jason (garfield) just jammed on his e-brakes.

HA HA HA.

thank goodness my brake pads weren't that worn out yet. i jammed on my e-brakes too, and managed to stop barely before i was about to hit his car.

MAGNIFICENT!

a split second later, i got thrown forward.

you guessed it. jason (ford boy) didn't manage to stop his car in time, and his car hit my car.

apparently, he was concentrating on why the wrx behind was "pushing" him, and forgot to look in front. when he did, it was too late, and he hit my car's backside.

HOW DUMB CAN THAT BE?!

so he offered to settle it privately, and after discussing with my dad, we decided that the best place to do it at is at mazda motors.

yay. :) so i get a new bumper change, a new exhaust, a new muffler and probably a new boot. oh, and he's providing me with a spare car to use during the 5 days that the repair work's gonna take. how sweet!

i have to say this - mazda's really inefficient because the fastest date they can get my car done is only on monday! (imagine i actually went down on tuesday...)

what the heck, as long as i can get my car done up the way it was before, i'm happy.

BAH! i forgot to buy 4D!!!

does that mean that my love life is really gonna take a bad path?

i'm superstitious! (can't help it when i, an old spinster, have been cursed to not find a proper bf nor stay in a relationship for long...)
